Perhaps I should be taking the thank you notes with me. If this phrase, identified on the card as an "oriental proverb" has wisdom to it, then these thank you notes would keep me warm all throughout my first winter.
I am cleaning out my office desk in preparation of moving. I have kept many thank you notes over the years and am looking at the signatures of them as I recycle them. It is a joy to remember all of the ways I have been connected to this community over time. I found this quote on one of the Thank You notes, "One kind word can warm three winter months."
Perhaps I should be taking the thank you notes with me. If this phrase, identified on the card as an "oriental proverb" has wisdom to it, then these thank you notes would keep me warm all throughout my first winter.

Yes, definitely keep those notes. I have a "memories files" from my time at MCCSJ. It is good to have reminders of all of the ways in which you have touched and enriched people's lives.
